Start With The Hero Kit

A Drakantos build begins with the hero, not with an isolated item. First decide which hero and mode you are building for, then compare Orbs, Artifacts, Trophies and Equipment by what they change.

Build Pieces

Each build piece answers a different question. Orbs belong to skill customization and sit closest to the hero kit. Artifacts add a separate effect layer - for example, an active tactical tool. Trophies provide passive effects that support the rest of the build. Equipment stays as loadout context until there is enough official gear detail for useful standalone guidance.

Build Order

  1. Pick a hero.
  2. Choose the mode: PvP, adventure progression, dungeon, boss or general testing.
  3. Identify which skill or weakness you want to change.
  4. Compare Orbs and Artifacts first.
  5. Add Trophies and Equipment only when they support the same goal.

PvP And PvE Builds Are Different Questions

PvP builds work best when tied to mode rules, map pressure and enemy hero picks. PvE builds work best when tied to quests, dungeons, bosses, drops and party goals. The same hero can need different choices across those contexts.

For PvP, check PvP Modes before choosing build pieces. Control, Escort and Assault can change artifact charge value, objective pressure and what kind of loadout problem you are solving.

What A Future Build Page Should Answer

A useful build page names the hero, mode, core pieces, reason for each piece and what to change when the build feels wrong. If a topic cannot answer that yet, treat it as context rather than a finished guide.
